Investing with purpose
After designing the layout for Abenex’s latest sustainability report, I had the opportunity to support them with their mission committee report. And for anyone coming across this term for the first time, here is a quick summary: a mission committee report is an official document published by a société à mission (a legal status introduced in France by the 2019 PACTE Law).
Basically, its goal is to assess progress on the social and environmental objectives the company has committed to in its articles of association. What’s interesting to note is that not all large corporations or mid-sized enterprise (ETIs) hold this status…
So, what exactly is a société à mission? It is a company that abides by a legal framework allowing it to demonstrate a genuine and measurable societal commitment to its clients, employees, and partners. Above all, it helps tackle greenwashing, as marketing promises become legally binding obligations audited by an independent third party.
First time design a mission committee report
Not my first rodeo with Abenex but my first time designing a committee mission report. Designing their last sustainability report before has been a great help so we could reuse the same fonts and layout I had designed. Abenex has two main colours in their chart: while we worked with the blue color on Abenex’s last sutainability report, we decided to use more orange for this mission committee report.
