Designer Chair Warehouse selects some of the best seating options for your home or office—for people who take style and ergonomics seriously. It all began as a passion project in 2017, when they realized how frustrating it was to find a good-quality chair at an affordable price. The company was officially established in 2018 and has grown ever since. From their showroom in Cape Town, DCW now serves customers across South Africa.
2023 collection
Having previously collaborated with Willem on his firm Le Roux Attorneys Inc, I was fortunate to work this time on his second venture, producing a catalog in InDesign to showcase the best chairs of 2023, featuring around forty models. To be honest, I didn’t know much about the subject beforehand, but through this project, I learned that virtually all the chairs and seating we encounter in our daily lives, both in private and public spaces, are inspired by a group of about twenty international designers dating back to the early 20th century…
